Great alternative to other active humbuckers.
Tried it on a whim as a middle humbucker in my custom Dean Z and it works amazingly well! It has more bass than an 81 (which it is often described as a vintage equivalent of) but still has an enough high end to not get muddy. Obviously being used a middle pickup doesn’t give a better overall sound example but it works for what I need and I would definitely buy it again!
