The fly in the ointment - pad sensitivity

Great device, apart from one thing: the pads.

I have not been able to reach full velocity despite virtually beating the pads as hard as I can. My fingertips are hurting. The neighbours are complaining, not from the sound of the samples but from my banging on the pads.

Yes, there is the fixed velocity option, but -- the threshold is still to high. Some hits will be full velocity, some will not register at all.

I do not understand why such a well made and thought out device does not have the possibility to set pad sensitivity.
