Fabulously stripped back

Duesenberg Johnny Depp alliance is one beautiful guitar. I had a little bit of trepidation going for a one pickup guitar. I shouldn't have worried. Clean and crisp when you need but dial it up and it sings . Put the effort in and you'll reap the rewards. The little switch is an added bonus, taking the edge off the treble when needed. Looks wise it's even better in the flesh, the carving on the aluminium top is faultless. The tuners are excellent with the trem giving a flawless vintage feel. I was a little worried that the connection with Mr Depp might have made it more of a curiosity piece and not a serious guitar. How wrong I was. This guitar rocks!! So pleased I took the plunge.
Overall if you're looking for lots of bells and whistles, go for something else. However if you fancy something that just lets you get on with playing, and looks and feels fantastic, treat yourself. You deserve it!!
