Doepfer A-124 Wasp Filter SE

This is a fairly simple filter module. One input and two outputs (HP/LP and Bandpass). The two control voltage inputs are great to have and I wish that it had an extra audio input (though the price makes that easily forgivable)

I use this module as a pure character box. It's super dirty and wobbly in a fantastic way (If you like that). If you are looking for a simple clean filter this might not be the one for you but if you want something a bit unpredictable and weird this module is one of my favorites.

The build quality feels great as often is the case with Doepfer, and the price is really hard to beat.

If you want your filter to have tons of character and weirdness then this is a must have and won't hurt your wallet nearly as much as some of its competitors.

Crank up both the level and resonance knobs and hear the sound break apart in a wonderful way.
I really love this module.

This is perhaps a slightly nieched filter, so take a listen to it before you buy it, but if you are like me and a lot of others, you will LOVE it.

It has a low pass/high pass output aswell as a band pass one. The low/high pass one is adjustable via the mix knob, and that knob adds another parameter to the sound modulation, beyond the frequency and resonance parmeters.

It is warm and fuzzy, can be abrasive, but also used as a slightly clean low pass filter if you dial it right.

It costs NOTHING, and I would happily pay at least the double for it, so I recommend you all to try it out.
