Sounds amazing!

I have tried several compressors, including Cali76 and Diamond. I have also been doing session work on mostly electric-bass since the 70s. Participated on, last time I counted, over 250 released recordings so I do know a bit about what I am listening for. Compression is very subjective, though, so this is my personal preference. I really like the Hyper Luminal. It gives me control of the things I need. Ratio, attack and release. It has a blend function which is essential for me. The three different types of compression are different, I personally love the SSL-clone. And it´s really quiet. Out of the box it sounds prefect but I realize that the tweaking I can do via the USB is really deep. But right now, not having gone there yet, I really love the sound. Recommended!

I am still pretty new to compressors and bass effect pedals in general. This pedal does what a compressor supposed to do and does it really well with a lot of options to tweak the effect to taste. In my experience using this with a small amp it made the attack far more even and the bass more audible and punchy. I practice with a guitar player and since I have started using this its easier to hear what I am playing over his guitar.

great all around

such a nice pedal ! i have it for about one moth or so . It is build like a tank , love that it has pretty much 3 different compressors making you always have the punch or warmth that you want at your tone .

A necessity

This is the only pedal I'd never skip since I've tried it. It clears my sound, it boosts whatever I wan't boosted, and the sheer range of setups is unreal.
