I used to buy Elixir strings with their coating.
I thought I would have something similar with the D'Angelico Electrozinc ones.
Well, after I used it on of my guitars I can say the corrosive attack is there earlier compared to Elixir ones.
The sound and clarity of the strings: nothing to mention, clear sound even after a few weeks.
Are there better strings: yes
Are there worse strings: definitely.
Would I buy them again: no
I would probably go back to the Elixir I know, ok many of you don't like the coating, I don't mind the feel/touch of it.
