NYXL is still my fav after all these years
I really appreciate D'Addario selling single replacement strings. In case of accident with a failry new set it's easy to replace the one that got broken, and it won't sound off, since they remain their character for a long time.
Or you can make a custom set with gauges you prefer if you have a need for something more unique.
