Simply put, I've never been sorry for buying D'Addario strings.
Though that probably applies to any good brand, because I buy Martin strings as well. Probably down to any player's preference really.
The strings retain their nice clear sound very long.
I've gone through several of these strings in the past few years and I have never had one that snapped.
Great quality!
I'm only still a beginner on the bouzouki and have tried the original strings with octaves for the bass pair. I think I now see why more than a few players prefer double pairs of wound strings for the bass pairs. There's simply much more power there. It all depends on what other instruments you are playing with. These are the only same gauge set available at present, but I can't fault them.
I have used these for a while on my osark 'zuk and have always been happy with them. Definitely worth getting. I use daddario strings on everything and am pleased with the quality and time every time.
These are one of my favorite bouzouki strings.
Work great for rhythm and sound good for solos too. Not too boomy, not too brittle. Perfectly balanced as all strings should be... I'll show myself out.
