+++ Best build quality i have ever seen. It looks very smooth and clean, very high quality materials. It looks like a piece of art.
--- I tried the pedal on bass guitar, the sound is very clean and polished, not really exiting on bass.
--- On some settings the effected signal starts to rise A LOT in volume when you let the note ring.. (much higher volume then my bass can reach without the pedal on... maybe a slap pop sound is the same volume?)
The Envelope filter will start to rise and just will keep ringing on the same high volume until you mute your string, It is like when you hold a note on a syntheziser keyboard...
No one else here in the reviews seems to have this problem. Maybe it is not ment for bass guitar, that is probably the problem.
I compared this to the much cheaper Mooer Envelope, that works much better on bass and sounds less sterile.. The Wah sound on the Ottawa is thinner and a bit boring to me compared to the Mooer Envelope, it has a fuller sound that i like.
Besides that, it is easier to dail in the settings right and to make it sound good. For bass users i advice the Mooer Envelope. It is a no brainer, less then half the money too.
