Excellent quality

I purchased the MDX2600 V2 to improve the audio on my YouTube channel and I have not been disappointed the unit is easy to set up and to adjust, with just enough parameters to create the sound you require my audio has been improved so much i'm able to reduce the background noise by using the Expander/Gate function and to enhance my voices presence using the Compressor plus the inbuilt De-Esser is a welcome addition. My post processing workflow has been reduced by over half just by my purchase of the MDX2600 V2

Improvement to PA sound

Added this to my PA set up ,in my rack alongside the behringer ultra pro EQ and the behringer u phoria 1820.
Received it this week and played a gig last night and well ,this unit really enhanced our sound . My sound engineer who had advised adding a compressor unit was impressed with what it can do . 4 bands played in a gig that I set up so I could hear the difference prior to us going on.
Think we've only scratched the surface with what the 2600 can do . For the cost this rack unit is incredible.
Have it housed in a 3 iu rack unit for protection and carry in and out of gigs. Very happy so far ,and recommend.

For the price, no other rack mount dynamics processor can touch this.

I bought this, as I want to move to a hybrid home studio, so that I am able to experiment and compose without my computer. For it's low price it is quite amazing. Sure there are better ones for huge money, but to my ears, the MDX2600 V2 is surprisingly good. I like that the two channels can be linked to form a stereo pair, where the controls on one side act as a master. The side-chain send and returns give me amazing flexibility, the gate is very effective, the compressor is at least as good as my stock plug-ins in ProTools. The de-esser does the job well too.

For the price of this thing, it is a no-brainer if, like me, you are a home studio hobbyist, who wants the option of making music without using the DAW. Connected to my Neutrik patch bay, the MDX2600 V2 has definitely earned it's place in my modest outboard rack.
