Baton Rouge X11LS/F-SCC Folk

This guitar sounds great, but I was very disappointed with the finish on the guitar. I thought you would be able to feel the grain on the top, but it has a thick layer of matt finish on top, which looks awful when it catches the light. It kinda looks like a print of wood grain but I'm sure it's not, just a thin layer of spruce wood.

The machine heads/tuners are not too great either. Doesn't stay in tune. I will be replacing those.

I think I will sand down the matt finish down to the wood and apply a glossier finish.

this is an amazing guitar. quality materials and workmanship at the highest level. the sound is beyond praise.
this is the best that can be bought for this money
