Bare Knuckle BC True Grit ST Set BK

Well, as the title says, I am very very pleasantly surprised! I have their True Grit P90's, they are total rock'n'roll machines, but I wanted a vintage sounding single coils for my Strat, but not with usual scooped mids. So I debated between Old Guard and True Grit single coils, and ordered True Grit with a thought "well, if this doesn't work, I will buy the Old Guard set", but, from the first note, these sound exactly what I wanted my Strat to sound. Really vintage output, not hot at all, (DC resistance isn't a measure of the pickup's output), and they have all the mids you want and/or need!
These are not modern sounding at all, truly a vintage sound with mids intact.
