I wanted to put "Functionality" on 4/5, because it is VERY tight with space inside, but i cant in good faith rate it anything but full 5/5 because of how high quality everything else is.
It does fit my Wolf Forte Secundo in the shoulder rest spot below the violin (has a velcro strap too). But i have my Wolf quite heavily bent in a deep arc, and it just BARELY fits (upside down).
The finish is gorgeous and a deep chocolate colour. Everything oozes high quality. The locks are solid and strong. The entire case seals in double rubber lips to form an airtight seal (and rainproof).
There is however nothing that keeps the lid up once opened, not even a cheap little strap like in other cases.
This isnt an issue but worth keeping in mind.
The violin sits snug and nice with a few millimeters of wiggle room.
The included subway handle and backpack straps are also very high quality and the mounts are so solid you may be able to do rock climbing with the hooks.
The tiny triangular pouch is almost useless.
Contrary to what you would assume, it does NOT fit in the top above the scroll. It ONLY fits right next to the shoulder rest, in vertical position.
However it does fit a tiny pencil, peg paste, chinrest tool, rosin.
If you use Bernardel rosin, that can fit in the top snug above the scroll (since this rosin comes in a soft cloth pouch that protects the scroll even if laying on it).
Overall a great case, but quite spartan.
You can buy a Bam Bonbon-specific back pouch for sheet music and books, but only on their website (the specific model isnt on thomann yet).
But thats another €110 to just carry your music..
