Avid Pro Tools Ultimate

I come from a reel to reel time and I found Protools enabled me to continue writing and recording in a similar fashion.
This latest version carries on with that tradition and I wouldn't swap.
There's no doubt looking at some of the forums I only use a fraction of what it can do.
It's a shame that HEAT is not included as a perpetual license and I will have to pay again to continue in November.

Avid Pro Tools Ultimate used to be a go-to for professionals, but now it's just a cash grab. The increased price and sky-high annual maintenance fees for basic updates feel like daylight robbery. It's like paying for a luxury car and being asked to pay extra for the wheels every year. Steer clear unless you enjoy being nickel-and-dimed at every turn.
