My to go tom mics
I love how these sound on toms. They are focused, keep both the body and the presence of the heads. Very cool stands/clips as well. Allows for more placement options.

Awesome Audio Reproduction
The Audix D2’s capture the drums as I hoped they would - Awesome! The mic drum mounts make it a breeze to place the mics where required.

solid build, small size, super sound!
the Audix D2 has quickly become my favourite go-to generic instrument microphone. whether it be a snare, tom, saxophone, trumpet, guitar cabinet, percussionist etc - I reach for a D2 faster than I would my Shure SM57s.
