Audio-Technica ATH-R30x

Decent but there is something about them that I can't really define. Got them after some youtube reviews but. Coming from akg k612 pro, these sound a bit weak and bass is, hmm not sure how to express myself but a bit more boxed and boomy maybe and they don't feel as "open" as the akg. I wanted to try something new after having had akg's for the last 30 years or so but right now I am a bit angry at myself for not spending 50 euros more. Maybe they will open up more after a break in period, we'll see but for right now, I would probably go for some of their bigger brothers/sisters or some other brand.
