This sampler is simply amazing. It added another level to my modular system. You can use it in many creative ways. Be it drum sampler, adding textrures and atmospheres, sampled instruments that can be controlled by CV, played from keyboard etc. You can record and sample your own.

Sound quality and algorithms for processing and manipulating audio are excelent. I like that you can do some mixing in the unit - volume, panning, HPF, LPF. There is reverb and delay. You can route samples to different outputs.

Only downside is that sometimes sample drops out. Even its visual track is not "loaded" on those segments. I think it only happens on very long samples and not always. Probably when the cpu is overloaded or unit is hot.
Another thing worth mentioning is that this module is really power-hungry. 400ma is a lot. It is worth it but consider it when putting in to small case.

The Bitbox micro have 8 pads for sounds, loops and samples, the samples streams direct from the sd card and can be played by midi or the 8 triggers inputs on frontpanel), theres a build in filter, delay and reverb + cc control ...the Big Bitbox have 16 pads but only a stereo out, the micro have 6+2 outputs for process the 8 sounds further trough other modules ..,some buyers wrote module goes hot .. i dont have any problem that the module is to warm, i use it in a Behringer eurorack go case, which have a good power supply ... tip: buy a big fast micro sd card for huge sample collections or audio playback you also can record and slice loops .. highly Recommended!

Ich habe das erste Preset geladen und der Nachmittag war hin! kurz das Modul macht unglaublich Spass...
Vor ca 20 Jahren hatte ich einen 19" Rack Sampler gekauft für 5k, ein paar Jahre später nochmals einen für 3k. Dann sind die Hardware Sampler erstmals verschwunden.
Jetzt tauchen sie wieder auf im Eurorack mit unglaublichen Möglichkeiten.
Ich habe mich für die bitbox micro entschieden wegen der vielen Einzelausgänge.
